A word from our Founder:
At ResiFest, we are committed to being transparent with our funding and practicing responsible stewardship. While we are not a non-profit organization (yet!), we want our supporters to know exactly where their contributions are going. Funds raised are used to pay our entertainment and staff a fair wage as able, ensuring the talent and hard work that make ResiFest special are rightfully compensated. Additionally, funding covers the costs of facility rentals, tents, tables, garbage cans, insurance, and other essential event logistics. We also use a portion of the funds to stock our merch table with unique items for our attendees. Importantly, any excess funds are donated to our benefactors, which this year include Common Ground Free Store Ministries and Women’s City Club. We believe in the importance of community support and transparency, and we are dedicated to using our resources wisely to benefit both our event and our community.
Thank you for your support in helping this event to grow to its fullest potential. We are only in our second year, and I can see the future is bright for ResiFest as it helps to bring the community together in celebration of mental health resilience through the arts and self care!
All my best,
Anne
